Movie News: The Deputy Prime Minister has proposed plans to lead a commons debate that will ask ‘serious questions’ about the film Prometheus, as he doesn’t fully understand it himself.

Clegg went to see the film last week and sources inside Downing Street say he has been talking about it ever since – at one point spending over an hour repeatedly asking people in the canteen ‘was the android broken or something?’.

“There are just so many logic gaps in the plot,” said Clegg. “The character’s motivations seemed random and didn’t make any sense. It’s almost as if they worked out the story by throwing darts at a cork board covered in pretentious keywords.”

“I’m still unsure if it was a philosophical statement about the nature of humanity, or a load of pompous bullshit that was trying to make a monster film seem clever.”

Clegg says that if his questions about the film are not satisfied in Parliament, he will insist on an extensive Government inquiry – so that director Ridley Scott and writer Damon Lindelof can be questioned under oath by barristers.

I Love Cleggs comment “unsure if it was a philosophical statement about the nature of humanity, or a load of pompous bullshit”
That must have been copied and pasted from the LibDem’s manifesto

    Ah diddums!
Do you always slag off something you can’t comprehend?
Watch it again and it might sink in.

@ Dirk Diggler: actually, I think they’re slagging Prometheus off because it was pretty shit. Nice try trying to make out that only you are smart enough to “get it”… B+ for effort.
