Sports betting company Paddy Power, via their agency Taylor Herring, secured The Poke’s help in designing the artwork for this picture which is splashed across many of today’s papers.

Roy the Redeemer, a nod to the Rio’s ‘Christ the Redeemer’ statue, stands 100ft tall on The White Cliffs of Dover. On a clear day he’s visible from the coast of France, sixteen miles away.

A Paddy Power spokeperson said; “at the end of the day this is definitely the closest Roy will get to Rio this month!”

Definitely the biggest photoshop job we’ve ever been involved with. (Nice one Q).
