Venus transit ideal opportunity to be naked, scream at sky

Venus News: Thousand of people around the world took the transit of Venus across the sun as the perfect time take off all their clothes and start screaming at the sky.

“It’s a rare event that won’t be repeated until 2117,” said one stargazer on top of a multi storey car park. “So I’d be foolish not to strip off all my clothes and start screaming at the heavens.”

In Los Angeles, hundreds gathered to watch the event – the last time the city witnessed a Venus transit was 130 years ago in 1882, a time when people were generally too modest to get naked and start screaming in public.

Said one observer, “If today isn’t the perfect day to run around the Hollywood hills naked and shrieking like a feral animal, then I don’t know when is.”

The spectacular show wasn’t just seen from the earth – aboard the International Space Station American astronaut Dave Chowder took video of himself nude and screaming during the event and posted it online.
