Radcliffe to consider Potter return if career goes tits up

Wand News: Harry Potter fans will be happy to know that actor Daniel Radcliffe has said he would gladly consider playing the wizard again, if the rest of his career goes tits up.

The 22-year-old admitted that a comeback wouldn’t be for “nostalgic or dutiful reasons” but instead based on “cold, hard financial choices” that he would face if his post-Potter acting career tanks.

“If I learned one thing in life, it’s that it’s foolish to cut yourself off from anything,” said Radcliffe.

“And if it comes down to picking up that wand again or defaulting on my mortgage repayments, then I’ll be that riding a broomstick quicker than you can say ‘Danielus bankruptus!’”.

“In ten years time there’s a chance I’ll be paying alimony to a number of ex-wives and have a gambling habit.”

“I’ll be reduced to doing furniture commercials or posing for pictures with middle-aged women at wizard conventions, so they’d have to make it worth my while. By worth my while of course I mean pay me anything.”

“But obviously,” added Radcliffe, “the script would have to be right.”
