Fogle: ‘I deserve to be member of Royal Family’

Celebrity News: Housewives favourite Ben Fogle spoke today of his frustration at “the bloody obvious”.

“I should be a member of the Royal Family,” he told This Morning’s Philip Schofield.

“We live in a modern, media age – and if the Palace wants to survive they need to get me involved on more than an ad hoc basis.”

While Fogle admitted that, constitutionally, there could be some problems becoming King, he insisted that he should at least be a prince. “I mean, come on! You’re going to leave things to Baldy and Ginge? Really? Who’s going to inspire the all the Royalist women out there? Or the Americans?”

“Let’s face it: I’m a chap’s chap. I’m an all-rounder. I’ve got that homely rugbyness, that chin-trusting worthyness that people can admire from an appropriate distance. My accent is faultless and, well, frankly, I’m bloody good-looking. There – I’ve said it.”
