Celebrity News: Pop superstar Rihanna was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department in the early hours of this morning after beating up ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. She is expected to plead guilty to charges of felony assault.
In what many will see as revenge for Brown’s 2009 attack that left her face badly swollen, insiders say that Rihanna is ‘overjoyed’ to have ‘finally got her moment and kicked his head in’.
While the exact events remain unclear, it seems that both stars found themselves at a lavish party in the Hollywood hills when Rihanna’s entourage negotiated with Brown’s so that the two could spend some ‘private moments together’ in an upstairs bedroom.
“It was a trap,” says a close friend of the Barbadian performer. “Rihanna has been training in the Israeli martial art of Krav Maga since 2009, waiting for the right time to strike. Soon as the door was closed she let Brown think she wanted to have sex with him. Then she bounced his face off the wall.”
Both stars remain unavailable for comment, but blogs and social media sites are exploding with reaction to the event. A leaked photograph taken of Brown hours after the attack is almost impossible to avoid online.
“It’s actually pretty sad. Violence is never the answer,” tweeted Jay-Z, “unless of course you make millions glorifying it in songs and shit, in which case it’s pretty cool.”
