Celebrity News: Hollywood rogue Charlie Sheen, who has been entertaining the world with his public feuds and drug-fuelled philosophy, was officially sacked yesterday from his role in the hit U.S sitcom Two and a Half Men – and picked up a new role as a Mr. Man character in a series of books about his life.

Warner Brothers announced the termination of contract, citing substance abuse and his erratic behaviour for ‘undermining production’ and making reconciliation impossible.

It wasn’t long before Sheen hit back, pictured on top of a roof waving a machete and calling channel bosses ‘yellow cockroaches’ and ‘juvenile infants’ for not ‘having the decency to even call him’ after he had put ’5 bill’ in their pockets.

However, the self-styled ‘winner’ who described himself on his twitter account as an ‘unemployed winner’, has not stayed a loser for long, instantly snapping up a contract with the estate of Roger Hargeaves to star in a series of cartoons about his own life.

I am worth more than one, normal man. I am worth at least two and a half men, and definitely two and a half Mr. Men.” said Sheen today. “I’ve seen the first of the series and they’re awesome. They will blow a hole in all this BS and set a new tempo for kids cartoons that are for adults who act like kids but still want to explore adult issues, albeit in a kids fashion.”
