“437 laws on hand towels” LBC caller has the worst reason for wanting Brexit

LBC listener, Anthony, rang in to explain why he wants Brexit, but he didn’t do a very good job of it. As he always does, presenter James O’Brien tried to get his caller to be specific about the problems he has with belonging to the EU, and it seemed to boil down to wanting freedom to pollute the air and anarchy in the hand-towel sector. Listen and wonder …

He’s weirdly specific on the number of laws on hand towels, for a man who can’t name any of them – and let’s face it, there are almost certainly nowhere near that many.

Topical Twitter essential, @ImIncorrigible summed up Anthony, awarding him an LBC accolade.

He's got a list from Brexit Central, but he hasn't actually looked into the details.
